Lockscreens

Below are some lockscreens I have put together, all of them are clear to at least some degree.
Once installed, wallpapers can still be used, but they will hide any of these mods. If you are currently using a wallpaper, you will need to run the ‘remove cached lockscreen’ utility from flipz’s kitchen tool to see the new graphic after it’s installed.

Click on a screenshot below to download the lockscreen of your choice. If you would like to see a preview of the lockscreen in the kitchen then right click the image and save it to the same folder as the zip file.

All of these lockscreens are signed and can be installed with flipz’s kitchen tool or through RA.

Custom Lockscreens

If you would like something completely custom, don’t hesitate to ask.
I will require a small donation to grant the request, due to my wife wanting all my free time.
If there is a donation involved, all of my projects are instantly approved.  ;)

I couldn’t have done any of this without flipz’s help, alot of this required hex changes that I simply cannot do. If you get a chance, show him some love, ADwords isn’t paying for the site anymore.

If you are running a different ROM other than Fresh 1.x or have installed a lockscreen from somewhere else, you might have the old stock lockscreen files (grey bars). In order for the lockscreens above to work the best, you will need to install the Clear Lockscreen first (1st screenshot above).

    is there a guide to making a lockscreen somewhere, i have your zip, i have the PNG file i want to use, i tried renaming my png to the same one as yours, but to no avail. whats the cost on a custom lockscreen? Feel free to email me at the address i used here.

    I would like to know if there is a way to get the original espresso lock bar back. Not the one that ships with the phone but the one found in the MoDaCo rom and has a similar style to home screen location bar.

    Great work! Just wanted to report that the ClearLock w/ Stock icons still uses Fresh 1.1 icons for the phone status (vibrate, no sound, etc.)

      You can flash it over a stock rom however the wallpaper won’t be transparent.

    OK so i can flash it, but I won’t see the change because of the stock roms default wallpaper for the lockscreen. any idea if i was to delete this item (HtcLockScreen.apk) would it than work?

    I still cant get the last lockscreen to load. I tried both ways.. loading from RA/sd card and from the theme option. The little green guy shows up at the bottom, but my old stuff is still there. I am using a fresh 1.1 rom install and tried installing the first clean lockscreen as well. Tried the remove cached lockscreen option and still nothing.

      Maybe you are confused on what it should be doing then. “The little green guy” is the lock screen. All that other stuff are icons on noj’s home screen.

    was wondering if some one could make me a lockscreen. i really want this picture on my lockscreen. Im running rooted, with fresh 1.1 gumbo kernel already running a custom clear lock screen. tried to make my own replacement image and flashed it and it kept telling me invalid file or something. if needed i can donate a few i really want this lockscreen. slightly transparent if possible. thanks in advance. and if this is out of the question, maybe point me to a detailed guide on making lockscreens

    I tried flashing clearlock w/ stock icons with RA ..
    but my lockscreen did not change even though the icons changed to stock … what am i doing wrong?

        so if i understood correctly ..
        you can remove lockscreen wallpaper by removing cached lockscreen .. i have a mac and can’t use kitchen
        is there another way of doing this?

          Assuming you are using a rom that is supposed to have a clear lockscreen (like fresh 1.1) and yours still isn’t clear, then you just need to:

          rm -r /data/misc/lockscreen

          And that should set it back to clear.

            sorry.. im such a noob here..
            but when you say clear..
            do you just mean that the sprint and the stock gray bar is removed?
            looking at your screenshots, i see them totally transparent.. like see-through…

            if yes, i put in the commands and it said the files or directories are not found

    I have a lock sceen problem. For some reason my lock screen will stop at some point in the day and the phone will stay unlocked. The only way I know it fix it is to restart the phone. Is there a program or bug or something that is making this happen?

    I love your lockscreen designs and I was wondering if you could make one for me? I like the Droid Banner – Solid but instead of the Droid image, would you be able to put this pic there instead?
